As a designer, you are inspired by the natural fabric - DENIM.
Express yourself: find the Beauty and Harmony that comes with the blending of different materials, recycling DENIMS and stylish jeans. Discover and propose NEW TECHNICS of work with note washed denim... Possibly you can find the new type of decoration of the fabric or new forms of clothes? Can you propose some new NOT CHIMICAL TREATMENTS of denim ? ... Why not ?
There is only one all important condition: BE FREE!!
Materials
Please, don’t hesitate to choose from any and all available materials, which can help you to be creative and surprise the world with your innovation: you can combine with denim, leather, metal or natural stones. You can work with lace and embroidery; you can decorate your garment with paint.
All designs must be created with a JEANS sensation or should complement a pair of jeans, or denim skirt, or be an independent denim garment. You can use beautiful combinations of denim and different fabrics, and laces; you can create your own fabrics, using such methods as patchwork, application, embroidery, crochet, etc.
Traditions
Include some elements of Haute Couture traditions into your designs. The creation of fashion items using your national costume traditions would be greatly appreciated. Another challenge – you can transform or re-design your old pair of jeans into a stylish garment.
Forms
You can create a T-shirt, shirt or tunic, dress or jacket, coat or evening garment ….or just a new style of jeans.
Can you imagine something completely new?
Accessories
You can create different accessories: shoes, belts or bags…with JEANS sensation.
